Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026 · On The Grind Stump Removal
1. Service Agreements & Estimates
By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or scheduling service with On The Grind Stump Removal, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. All estimates provided by telephone, text, or electronic photo review are based on client-provided measurements (root flare diameter, gate width, terrain conditions). If on-site inspection reveals substantially different root dimensions, hidden foreign metal, buried concrete footings, or restricted gate clearances, On The Grind Stump Removal reserves the right to adjust the written estimate prior to commencing work.
2. Underground Utilities & Georgia 811
In compliance with the Georgia Utility Facility Protection Act, On The Grind Stump Removal contacts Georgia 811 to mark public underground utilities (gas, electrical, municipal water, public telecom) prior to any below-grade mechanical grinding.
Private Utilities Notice: Property owners are responsible for identifying and notifying our crew of any private underground lines, including but not limited to: lawn irrigation sprinkler piping and valves, low-voltage landscape lighting wiring, invisible pet fences, septic tanks and drain fields, and private propane lines. On The Grind Stump Removal is not liable for damage to private, unmarked underground utilities that cannot be located by Georgia 811.
3. Property Access & Work Perimeter Safety
Clients must provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area (minimum 36-inch gate width for compact walk-behind grinders). For safety reasons, homeowners, tenants, children, and domestic pets must remain at least 75 feet away from active stump grinding equipment while the cutter wheel is engaged.
4. Wood Chips & Site Finish
Standard stump grinding produces a substantial volume of fresh wood chips mixed with soil. Unless full trailer haul-away and topsoil backfill is explicitly agreed upon in writing, our standard service includes raking the chips neatly into the grind depression or creating a neat compost mound on site.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any legal disputes arising from website use or service contracts shall be resolved in Cobb County, Georgia.
